In this role, you will be reconciling balance sheet accounts, including identifying variances between general ledger subsystems and the related system reports to include inventory, trade receivables, trade payables, inventory received but not invoiced and customer advance payments.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist in the development and documentation of process and procedures supporting the implementation and post deployment activities associated with our new revenue recognition platform.
In this role, you will be responsible for the accounting for Inventory-related transactions associated with cost, quantity, and system reconciliation. The selected candidate will coordinate cycle counts and record related transactions and correcting entries.
This position is responsible for month end close, general accounting duties, inventory evaluations, budgeting and forecasting, contract review as necessary, and financial reporting. The role will be expected to communicate with various counterparts and upper management regarding regulatory accounting issues or concerns as they arise, be responsible for several monthly and quarterly financial reporting schedules.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the integrity of accounting information by researching account issues for compliance and by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
As a Senior Accountant you will contribute to the Investment Accounting and Reporting team within the Chief Accounting Officers organization by supporting the accurate investment accounting and financial reporting processes of invested assets on a GAAP, Statutory, SEC, Management, and Tax basis.
