Work in this involves both Systems Analysis and Programming. Systems Analysis work consists of analyzing and designing systems and modifications to existing systems, as well as designing integrations between existing systems and purchased software packages. Programming work consists of reviewing programs, developing new programs, writing one-time programs needed to test and implement a system, and making program modifications as required.
Responsible for providing overall day-to-day Business Intelligence analyst expertise in order to support junior level analysts in their work efforts. Leads the effort in selecting the proper tools needed to efficiently perform tasks.
Provide advanced computer programming support for some or all of the following activities: creation and maintenance of programs used for data entry, data management, data validation, statistical report generation, and program validation.
Demonstrate independent judgment and autonomy regarding: triage conflicting responsibilities so that tactically immediate and strategically significant project duties are appropriately addressed; anticipate and address potential barriers to project success; proactively collaborate with colleagues to recommend and implement process improvements.
