In this role, you will develop a working knowledge of current automation technologies in the following disciplines: Field
Instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, Historians, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Virtualization and
Integration Technologies middleware, OPC, XML.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop plans to reduce COGS by continuously improving efficiencies, processing times, reducing labor and material costs, reducing maintenance costs, and controlling expense budgets.
In this role, the selected candidate will contribute to the definition, development and implementation of quality assurance practices and procedures and other QA assessments; adhere to the standards and best practices within the Agile Scrum methodology.
In this role, the selected candidate will establish fact based measurements of test efficiency, effectiveness and product readiness; participate in all aspects of testing: unit, integration, functional, regression, load/performance, automation and system testing.
In this role, the selected candidate will design and develop these automation scripts, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different modules of the FO, IO, and XPOEurope applications.
In this role, you will perform internal peer reviews of test cases from other engineers prior to and following execution as required to ensure issues/errors with the test scripts are identified and resolved.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist in the development of the software quality assurance (SQA) test strategy for moderately to highly complex IT initiatives across multiple SQA domains by analyzing business and technology requirements to ensure testability and traceability.
