The Case Manager is responsible for telephonically assessing, planning, implementing and coordinating all case management activities with members to evaluate the medical needs, overall wellness and/or appropriate and timely return to work.
Delegate responsibilities to auxiliary and emergency room staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of emergency room patient clinical records, and writes reports on emergency room staff performance and services rendered.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and analyzing an injured employee to evaluate the medical needs required to facilitate the patients appropriate and timely return to work. Acts as a liaison with patient/family, employer, provider(s), insurance companies, and healthcare personnel.
