This position will act as a trusted resource and engineering expert to the LED Global Operations team and be responsible for analyzing technical information, evaluating technical and process capability of sub-contract manufacturers, defining and executing strategies pertaining to LEDs manufacturing OEM and Sub-Contract strategies globally with a clear and forward looking view of the financial, technical and product design impact of actions.
In this position, you will provide engineering expertise for manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced at optimum costs, at all times, in order to insure customer satisfaction. Provide accurate methods, process instructions, routings and standards. Review manufacturing processes and provide effective solutions in inefficient areas.
In this role, the selected candidate will interface with Production, QA Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers on product/process quality issues and provide diagnostics analysis recommendations and assist in problem resolution.
