In collaboration with the patient, the patient's family and other members of the health care team, the clinical Critical Care Surgical Intensive Care (SICU) Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans.
This fast paced 38 bed unit treats complex Medical/ Surgical/Telemetry patients such as those with heart failure, pre and post catheterization, pre and post pacemakers, COPD, Pneumonia and a wide variety of other diagnoses.
The candidate selected will deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients with emotional or psychiatric disorders serve actively and constructively as a member of the multi - disciplinary treatment team and to ensure the safety and well being of each patient.
The selected candidate will performs a complete assessment of assigned patient's ongoing physical and emotional status, level of competency, home environment, safety factors and family support available to assist with care and needs of patient.
In this role, you will provide skilled professional nursing care to patient/family/caregivers as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulations by the State Board of Registered Nursing and company policies when called upon after hours.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care and working collaboratively with all disciplines to meet positive patient outcomes, customer service and financial management of home care patients.
