In this role, you will be performing standard, complex, and non-routine design tasks, requiring extensive skill and knowledge of CAD applications, supporting project managers in regards to utilizing CAD, mathematical analysis / calculations, and general project organization.
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer operates within the Charleston, SC Machining Center of Excellence and will focus on execution and implementation of best machining practices, including process troubleshooting and improvement, new product introduction, and advancements in machining technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for updating a variety of project logs, status reports and communication,obtaining construction related permits from local agencies,ensuring proper notices are filed and posted.
Manage and schedules project elements to ensure minimal interruption to plant operations & deliver finished projects as designed, on time and on budget with no safety, food safety or environmental issues.
In this role, you will establish project schedules by studying project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements. The selected candidate will be maintaining project schedules by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems.
In this role, you will be responsible for Plans and coordinates large scale projects or several small/medium projects at a time. Provides technical assistance to Manufacturing and Maintenance activities in a Paper Mill environment.
In this role, you will practice and provide training assistance in safe & environmentally compliant work methods as prescribed by the plant safety, health & environmental policies in order to ensure employee, customer, and visitor safety and overall site compliance.
