This role will be responsible for delivering a deliver a diverse range of technical content with varying turnaround times. There will be light writing duties (updating content on internal websites and process workflows) and a focus on video editing, graphic design, and motion graphics.
In this role, you will be responsible for experience writing documentation for complex technical products. (you know how to explain the contents of a huge configuration file in such a way that a system operator sees configuration as a tractable task.)
In this role, the selected candidate will design, write, and edit technical and process documentation; navigate through multiple platforms such as Web, iOS, and/or Android; create and maintain code sample fragments.
In this role, you will review and analyze the data and user requirements to ensure that documentation is clear, concise and valid; confirm the adequacy of material submitted for publication or final product quality.
This position analyze, synthesize, and create information through hands-on product usage, interviews with subject matter experts, exploring the existing documentation, and collaboration with colleagues and customers.
The Technical Editor write, rewrite and/or edit technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for proofreading and editing of prepared documents; research, assimilation, interpretation, formatting and publishing of information on new tools, systems and materials.
The ideal candidate brings substantial technical knowledge, a background working with networks and tool-sets, especially Frame Maker, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide variety of product groups.
