This position is for a Principal Lab Systems Engineer who has managed and successfully supported complex engineering infrastructures built primarily with various UNIX variants (AIX/Solaris/Linux/HP-UX), VMWARE, Windows, and IOS-equivalent network operation systems capable of producing highly reliable, high-volume business transactions.

Apply in-depth knowledge of Focused Ion Beam, STEM and EDS (FIB/STEM/EDS) to solve challenging problems in support of PMR and HAMR media in conjunction with Media Failure Analysis Teams, including drive returns and media experiments.
The Engineer will interface with the design and product teams to determine characterization needed, work with tester development teams on HW/SW characterization and feedback, and support oversea testing teams.
