The RDHO will work closely with the leadership team of assigned locations to implement new initiatives and develop, implement and monitor action plans to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of current services.
This position assures that the medication orders are consistent with current medical practice, F.D.A. and drug manufacture recommendations, current literature and/or other information sources. The Pharmacist resolves variations from the above standards with members of the Medical Staff in accordance with established policies and procedures.
In this role, you will be responsible for appropriateness of all prescriptions filled by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, applicable to state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.
The primary purpose of this position is to assist customers with their health care needs by filling prescriptions and providing excellent customer service and assisting with supervising pharmacy associates.
