The Payroll Specialist provides support to our business-owner clients and our internal team of experts. As a key member of a business unit, the primary objective of the BBSI Payroll Specialist is to process perfect payroll, and provide solutions to improve payroll processes and systems.
In this role, the selected candidate will act as the primary point person for all employees, interpreting payroll policies and procedures and responding to all payroll-related inquiries/mail in a timely and courteous manner.
In this role, the selected candidate will manage and respond to the support ticketing system on a daily basis; work with the P&C and IT teams to identify, troubleshoot and correct core system usage problems and develop solutions.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform payroll-related functions including but not limited to processing new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, employee information updates, deductions, retro calculation and set up of tax withholding as needed.
