The Human Resources Director will support initial and ongoing launch activities across the Utah/Southwest area for this fast growing manufacturing business. The HRD will be responsible for developing comprehensive HR strategies and leading HR programs in the areas of talent management, organizational effectiveness, leadership and coaching.
Supervises human resources staff and provides direction and leadership necessary to meet service level standards and overcome obstacles. Manages expenses related to the divisions human resources activities; participates in the development of budgets, forecasts, and reconciliation of expenditures.
You will be responsible for overseeing all Human Resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, orientation and development, compensation, benefits and labor relations. Directs the Human Resources department and oversees Employee Health /Workers Compensation. Advises and guides management in interpretation and application of all Human Resources Policies, Collective Bargaining Agreements and State, Federal Regulations and local laws and regulations.
Plans, organizes and manages the HRfunction and participates in developing HRgoals and objectives.
Develops, documents and recommends HRpolicies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook.
Experience as a strategic business partner with credibility as a trusted advisor and confidant to senior management on business issues and business strategy with the ability to link human resources as a driver and influencer of business performance.
The Director of Human Resources serves as a member of the affiliates senior leadership team, and provides expert knowledge and support to these leaders and the rest of management on Human Resource related issues and provides input and support on the affiliate leadership team on overall business issues.
