Accurately determine the tariff numbers, country of origin, Customs descriptions and eligibility for special trade programs for products that import into multiple countries by interpreting applicable rules and regulations.
The general responsibilities of the Compliance Associate include among other things: drafting and submitting regulatory filings in the U.S. and internationally, tracking the funds portfolio holdings, drafting and implementing compliance policies and procedures in conjunction with the Chief Compliance Officer, coordinating annual compliance re-quirements, compliance testing (including email testing), communicating and coordinating with portfolio companies, and other legal and compliance duties as assigned.
As a Compliance Engineer, you will be experienced in FCC and worldwide certification processes of wireless hand-held consumer electronics. You will have familiarity with wireless radio technology ranging from BT to LTE.
