In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the engineering and design of building electrical systems (lighting, power, and limited special systems) for facilities such as K-12 and higher education, healthcare, hospitality and commercial buildings.
In this role, you will identify and qualify new materials and suppliers. Ensure performance requirements are met while also driving down costs. Document results and perform ECOs to applicable documentation.
The Manufacturing Engineer is primarily responsible for supporting all production operations (e.g. Plastic Injection Molding, Assembly and Product/Preparation/Packaging), working with teams on implementing Continuous Improvement & Safety initiatives, recommending and implementing capital improvement projects, and supporting New Product Development Activities.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and improve aluminum joining methods, including fusion welding, Friction Stir Welding (FSW), and EMPT; develop and improve protocols for the use of adhesives and mechanical fasteners in aluminum joining.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide overall technical leadership for assigned product development projects and product enhancement projects; provide leadership in manufacturing process development and implementation.
