The NP PA will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescription of pharmacological agents, and patient education. The NP PA will also perform a variety of procedures including laceration repair, I&D, and lumbar puncture, etc.
The Emergency Medicine PA NP will be able to exercise autonomy in medical decision making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services within the limits of their training and experience, and their scope of practice.
The Advanced Practice Provider is a member of the primary health care team who works in collaboration with Heartland physicians. The Provider follows established protocols and collaborates with physicians, however, does have day-to-day independence in health care decisions. This position will be located at our CentraCare Health Plaza.
