In this role, the attorney will be responsible for supporting the legal needs for the former Oil & Gas Business Units of the Power Generation Division operations in the United States (including the international business of this group.). The attorney will work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel and Contract Managers, and provide legal advice and approvals where required during contract negotiations.
Develops and maintains effective relationships with vendors and overseas contacts. Identifies relationship issues and communicates those issues to management. Provides support for contract negotiations, as needed.
Must have good communication skills, be team players, be experienced in handling case investigation, drafting and responding to fact and expert discovery, and preparing lead counsel for deposition, argument and trial.
Responsibilities include providing legal advice with respect to consumer deposits products and services and payments systems, general banking operations and processing, and online deposit and bill payment services.
