As an Underwriter II, you will have working knowledge of residential mortgage underwriting guidelines and be responsible for the analysis of submitted files for repayment capacity, capital/assets, character, collateral and property condition, while adhering to Chase credit policies and investor/agency guidelines.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure that Actuaril and Group underwriting objectives are maintained by monitoring Quality Assurance audit results and key financial results (sales, profit, and persistency)
In this role, the successful candidate will review and evaluate residential mortgage applications and documentation to determine if borrower, property and loan conditions meet investor, FNMA and/or FHLMC underwriting guidelines and render a loan decision ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance.
Develop and maintains a loan underwriting portfolio consistent with the Bank's guidelines for credit quality and Investor or Insurer standards. Approves and/or denies loans within certain limits and makes credit structure and loan eligibility decisions.
In this role, the selected candidate will review credit applications on various types of loans; analyze applicants financial status, credit and property evaluation, corporate tax returns, personal tax returns, personal financial statements, credit reports, business reports and legal documents.
