Planning and execution of testing that effectively evaluates failure modes, validates designs, and verifies analysis methods. Collaborate with stakeholders to create/modify work instructions to clearly define requirements.
Plan, set-up, operate, troubleshoot, and monitor vehicle systems tests and evaluations in lab and track environments. Determine required test instruments, install instruments, and perform calibrations.
Play an active role in the development team to ensure that the development effort remains on schedule and within budget. Obtain and maintain data acceptance test accreditation, direct and perform product testing as necessary.

In this role, you will travel to customer sites for installation and testing to ensure electrical, mechanical, and fluidic components of the machinery communicate with the controls system and work correctly.
This position will be located in our Plant 3, Whitehall Casting Operation. This position will be reporting to the Advanced Manufacturing Technology group and will be instrumental in identifying new manufacturing technology. They will be responsible for working with vendors and design teams, follow through the build phase, and implementation of this equipment in production before handing it off to the manufacturing team.
The candidate will have experience in Control System Design, Drives, Motion Controls, Graphical HMIs, PC Based Operator Interfaces, PLC's, Visual Basic programming, SQL Server configuration, SCADA, MES/MIS Integration, Vision Systems,Control System Design.
