The Site Safety Manager will lead a team of hourly safety team members: Safety Specialist, Safety Coordinators, Onsite first aid Associates. You will create and execute leadership development plans for your Safety Associates on the team.

Develops and oversees company training programs for employees in areas such as compliance training, lab/plant inspection, hazardous material handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene, and life safety.
The Site Safety Manager must be an effective communicator and send clear, concise and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. You will instruct and train Operations Leaders in Amazon safety policies and assist the operations site teams in incorporating our safety standards at their site.
In this role, the selected candidate participates with managers on policy development and in achieving loss control objectives and performing safety audits. Develop programs and procedures to assist department managers in complying with Federal/EPA and State of Iowa laws dealing with Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know laws, including also the Hazard Communication Program as it pertains to TreeHouse Foods employees.

In this role, you will proactively prepare all facilities for all inspections including annual 3rd party audits and determine, document and assist in execution/manage plans for follow up resulting from each inspection preparation activity.
