The Portfolio Manager has primary business responsibility for the short- and long-term profitability of one or more automated trading portfolios; strives to maximize the profits of each strategy subject to risk and capital constraints.
Prepare written credit approval requests and present them verbally to credit approval committees. Presentation content is to be clear and relevant; delivery is confident, knowledgeable and conversational in tone.
Manage compliance and funding obligations in development loans, shareholder and partnership agreements, and other debt and equity financing documents, including management of borrowings, disbursements, consents, notices, and waivers to address emerging project matters.
Develops in-depth understanding of strategic priorities and supporting capability, and purpose and scope of all initiatives for an assigned portfolio; manages analytics and insights for that portfolio.
Ensuring overall portfolio performance and asset quality remains strong and when necessary surfaces issues, proposes and collaborates with others on strategies and actions to limit risk and loss to the Bank.
Review legal documents, with appropriate partners where appropriate, to ensure terms match approval granted by credit committee and bank is properly protected; submit completed loan documentation on a timely basis.
This position is responsible for ensuring that all reviews and renewals of Business Banking loan products are reviewed and re-documented (if necessary) prior to becoming an administrative past due issue.
Responsible for underwriting, credit monitoring and portfolio management of Commercial Banking relationships to achieve efficiencies and quality of the process and product, retention and expansion of existing client relationship, growth of total client assets and net growth in relationships.structure, collecting financial statements, as well as identifying cross selling/referring opportunities of other deposits services. As a Portfolio Manager, this position will maintain and build loans and deposits, fee income and referrals of business.
At least 5+ years of work experience with a minimum of 3+ years of pharmaceutical work experience; ability to think analytically, execute to a goal/vision, influence, problem solve in a matrixed global environment.
