In this role, you will provide treatment as ordered by the attending physician to relieve pain, develop or restore function and maintain maximum performance, using physical means such as exercise, massage, heat, water, light and electricity.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop and implement individual physical therapy programs designed to improve and maximize the patients mobility and independent functioning within their physical limitations/disabilities.
In this role, you will provide therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist consistent with the patients approved Plan of Treatment; observe patients during treatment, compiles data and report patients progress to Physical Therapist.
In this role, you will test /screen the patients physical strengths to assist the physician in evaluating the patients level of function and records findings to develop or pursue treatment programs and establish measurable training objectives.
In this role, the selected candidate develops and implements individual physical therapy programs designed to improve and maximize patient mobility and independent functioning within their physical limitations/disabilities.
In this role, you will consults and collaborates with other members of the health care team to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.
In this role, you will assist/instructs patient/family in transfer techniques appropriate to patient abilities. Instructs on use of equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs, canes, etc., in a safe manner. Utilizes appropriate therapy equipment specific to patient diagnosis and needs
In this role, you will ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with staff, patients and families. Must possess a level of analytical skills necessary to determine need for physical assessments, to develop individual therapy treatment plans, to evaluate patient response to therapy and to modify treatment plan and interventions as appropriate. Acute Care in a hospital setting.
In this position, you will plan and administer prescribed skilled physical therapy treatment and training for patients suffering from various injuries, illnesses and functional disabilities to attain highest level of physical function.
