The incumbent is responsible for leading a team of GMRA professionals assigned to the business unit. This position is a strategic business partner/advisor to the brands/sectors and acts as a general manager for all research efforts associated with the North American BCC businesses.
Directly supports marketing, engineering, product management and sale to achieve strategic deployment objectives by conducting workshops, kaizen events and providing guidance through the lean transformation process.
Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Plans and executes marketing strategies and programs based on a deep familiarity and understanding of the customer's products, markets and strategic goals.
Provide guidance and direction to employees with emphasis on maintaining a high performing work environment, especially on coaching, counseling, policies, procedures and standards. Considered a strategic partner, an employee sponsor or advocate and a mentor. Foster effective methods of communication and empowerment. Build employee ownership of the organization.
Accountable for delivering against key metrics, including financial goals outlined for digital marketing. Develops budget for marketing plans and is accountable for delivering against business goals/objectives.
Lead the development and implementation of the annual strategic marketing plan by translating research and analytics into usable insights, and prioritizing them based upon customer/channel impact while remaining consistent with key customer/integrated strategies.
Integrate inputs to develop distinctive product plans with outstanding financial outcomes; Be competent in microeconomics, finance, VOC, research and analysis and basic marketing toolkit [market definition and sizing, segmentation, value management, targeting and positioning, pricing].
