The Hospice Nurse - RN Inpatient Center will provide nursing assessment, planning and care to maximize the comfort and health of patients and families in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care.
The Registered Nurse is responsible to provide care in accordance with the American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and other standards established by profession/professional groups, regulating bodies/agents. Nursing care will be delivered in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice.
The Graduate Nurse plays a key role in the delivery of caring, competent patient care in conjunction with a mentoring Registered Nurse. Will perform assessments in an ongoing and systematic manner, formulate a goal directed plan of care and implement delegated interdependent and independent direct care activities based on skills learning and clinical training, assessment findings and evaluation of any previous interventions.
In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary team to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
In this role, you will provide and coordinate nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data in determining nursing diagnosis, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care.
