In this role, you will identify process improvements in the areas of safety, quality, and productivity.Establish manpower requirements, line and sub-assembly balancing data, and expectancy time performances.
In this role, the selected candidate will work with Management on quality planning (both short term and long term) supporting diagnosis of quality problems (both internal and external), corrective and preventive action programs and continuous improvement programs.
This position is responsible for maintaining, developing and improving manufacturing processes through the implementation of new and/or improved manufacturing equipment and systems, and development of manufacturing work cells.
The IE will design, develop, test and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis and production coordination.
The focus of these activities are engineering, design and consulting activities primarily based in our Chicago office. However, willingness to travel is required. Willingness to accept short-term field assignments at client locations is desirable.
