The Principal Software Developer takes a leading role in software development and will be responsible for architecture, design and development of real-time analytics and machine learning product line of My:Time Digital Platform. The successful candidate has a solid working knowledge of commonly used development concepts, practices and procedures.
In this role, the selected candidate will estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities including regression testing and load testing; manage a growing team of QA engineers with responsibilities for multiple websites and native applications.
In this role, you will travel to customer sites for installation and testing to ensure electrical, mechanical, and fluidic components of the machinery communicate with the controls system and work correctly.
The QA Engineer role requires the individual to be effective in participating at program, project and product related levels. The QA Engineer would participate in technical governance and would help negotiate overall product quality standards with development and business teams.
Develop, design, prototype, program, debug, and commission control systems for the following: linear and rotary motors, servomotors, actuators (electromagnetic, pneumatic, and hydraulic), sensors (optical and touch based), programmable controllers and IO interfaces including touchscreens.
The position requires the individual to apply their technical knowledge and any prior experience for the production of controls project design, material selection, and development of sequence of operation for lower level projects.
The Controls Engineer shall design, develop and implement Material Handling Systems used for vision inspecting, cutting, welding, filling, packaging, assembling, palletizing, and many other capabilities.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop drawings for control panels, power distribution, and junction boxesl; included in the drawings are the general arrangement, internal layout, schematics and interconnection and wire diagrams.
Design, prototype, program, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, debug, and commission control hardware and software systems for cutting machine tools incorporated into custom designed work cells for customers in a variety of industries such as construction, mining, primary metals, wind energy, and aerospace.
