You will serve as a primary attorney for a Research & Development Incubator function, and partner with your clients to develop, manufacture, market and distribute cutting-edge products and services worldwide.
Provides legal advice, counsel and support to the Ministry Market. Works collaboratively on matters assigned to outside counsel engaged to represent or assist the Ministry Market and with paralegals and other non-attorney staff assigned to work regularly or on specific projects.
In this role, the selected candidate will be drafting, serving and filing litigation documents such as civil and complaints, motions, subpoenas, and appellate briefs, with a particular emphasis on discovery-related documents and filings.
Working with health system organizations in building/enforcing compliance programs and policies and developing recommendations to advise company executives, sales and marketing, product groups and clinical research departments.
Analyze complex coverages involving but not limited to the following: Excess and Surplus lines, Highly customized coverages for merging companies, Financial Institutions, Fidelity Bond Coverages, Lawyers Books, and Cyberspace.
In this role, the selected candidate will possess the ability to understand the client's business objectives and incorporate those objectives into and project those objectives in appropriate transaction documents
Effectively manage all assigned Bond claims, typically of moderate severity or complexity, including Employment Practices Liability, Directors and Officers Liability, Fiduciary Liability and Miscellaneous Professional Liability.
This role will focus primarily on on investigating and responding to matters related to the Company's retail dealership operations and duties will include related working with outside counsel to manage litigation matters, reviewing and responding to agency and attorney demands, gathering and reviewing discovery, pleadings, and motions, and representing the Company at mediations, arbitration and trial.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a law firm setting along with extensive experience drafting pleadings, conducting research, managing traditional and electronic discovery, and appearing before state and federal courts.
