In this role, the selected candidate will perform or supervise numerical modeling and coastal engineering design in support of shoreline protection and bank stabilization, river and sediment diversions, dune restoration and marsh creation, sea level rise and climate change impact assessments, and, flood hazard analysis and mapping projects.
The selected candidate will be responsible for planning , organizing, and leading quality-related activities including investigation, root cause and corrective action on sikorsky and supplier products.
The selected candidate will be responsible for sustaining fielded engines through product deficiency investigations and developing product enhancements. The IPTs will also resolve manufacturing issues in support of new engine production.
Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit and to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for structural load/strain surveys, slung load testing, testing of helicopter weapons platforms, counter measures and dispensing system testing, jettison tests, armament & stores control and dispensing testing, helicopter acoustics tests, shipboard operations and securing, extreme cold weather testing, rotor icing protection system testing, large scale airframe load calibrations, land gear load calibrations, impact resonance and modal testing.
