The associate engineer will join a diverse team of M&P engineers responsible for all M&P aspects of our liquid engine propulsion product lines. This includes selection and development of metals and metals processing, joining and finishing processes, materials requirements management, production floor support, and failure investigations as required.
In this role, you will review, analyze and monitor material handling, raw milling, and kiln-pyro operations. Oversee pre-heater kilns, dry cement kilns and coolers to monitor the pyro-process operations, evaluate performance and recommend improvement and/or modification to standard operating procedures.
In this role, you will work alongside team members in developing and maintaining quality strategies, methodologies, as well as validation methods within a multi-tiered information technology environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for
providing materials-related and / or process - related testing support to product teams, processing development support, limited failure analysis and manufacturing process development support.
