The Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for the nursing care of patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Cath Lab Holding Area (pre and post procedure) utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in accordance with standards of nursing practice and philosophy of the Nursing Department.
Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations requiring immediate medical intervention. Demonstrates understanding of proper steps to transporting patients to hospital in an emergency situation.
Provides professional nursing care within the radiology department utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing care of patients according to the physician's orders. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating total patient care and nursing care plans for each patient.
In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to surgical patients within operating rooms/surgical services utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care before, during and after the completion of the surgery.
Coordinate pre-admission and outpatient registration services for patients across the continuum of care, promoting quality care and effective utilization of resources; provide leadership when dealing with patient pre-admission functions, including inpatient and outpatient services.
Provide skilled professional nursing care to patient/family/caregivers as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with regulations by the State Board of Registered Nursing and company policies when called upon after hours.
