In this role, the selected candidate will assist with maintaining compliance to professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements and will support physicians in delivering quality health care to patients taking into account the patients' individual physical or age-related needs.
In this role, you will have a broad range of general nursing knowledge and expertise. In addition, development and validation of knowledge and skills essential to the assigned department, patient population and/or practice area are crucial.
In this role, you will apply knowledge of assessing, planning, ordering, giving, delegating, teaching and supervising professional nursing care delivery that promotes patients optimal health and independence.
The selected candidate will be responsible for direct and indirect quality care for patients of all ages, according to the individualized needs of the patient, following the nursing process and in accordance with the nurse practice act.
In this role, the selected candidate will work in conjunction with physicians, other nursing staff, residents, families and other facility departments to provide optimum individualized nursing care; responsible for the delivery of quality patient care for the Acute patient and for the Skilled Nursing Facility patient.
In this role, you will coordinate patient care activities with other members of the health care team in a collegial relationship to promote patient comfort and assist in the achievement of a comfortable and peaceful death.
