Conduct research, analyses and create financial models on a variety of complex financial issues and business opportunities. Determining the appropriate analytical methodologies, developing and presenting alternative solutions, summarizing results, and making recommendations to assist in managerial decision-making.
Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain / BU business partners to continually improve inventory forecasting process and accuracy. Perform excess / obsolete inventory reserve assessments and proactively identify areas of risks and opportunities.
In this role, the selected candidate will
manage plant network inventory variance accounting and analysis including but not limited to: book the inventory obsolesce reserve, cycle counting accuracy reporting, scrap metrics.
This includes explaining financial performance and variances from forecast and budget, producing other monthly and quarterly financial reports for the business leadership, and ad hoc financial reporting. This position will also be responsible for monthly forecasts and the annual planning process.
In this role, you will stay current with new or proposed local, state, federal rules and regulations and internal and external financial reporting requirements. Has a broad understanding of area of this specialization; resolves a wide range of complex issues in creative ways.
This position is responsible for providing business analysis and insights and process leadership across key areas such as business decision support, planning & forecasting and business performance & reporting.
Evaluates and analyzes a variety of financial results and indicators such as capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, profit plans, operating records, financial statements, etc. requiring advanced expertise.
