The Systems Developer Sr IT will be responsible for investigating, identifying, and implementing application system changes and developing new applications. This position will analyze and evaluate existing or proposed application systems to process data. The Systems Developer Sr IT will design, code, test, debug, and document programs and collaborate with other team members by providing technical advice and training.
Searching for a bioinformatics programmer with a background in a CRO setting or similar to support clinical drug discovery scientists by utilizing SAS, JAVA, PERL and SQL to develop analytical programs.
In this role, you will perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system an application logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups and tunes systems to ensure optimum level of performance (using tools like New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc).
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for working closely with the client, the analysts examine business requirements to produce a detailed technical design for an appropriate improved IT solution.
In this role, the selected candidate will be designing and building (hands on creation) of sites (i.e. Business Site Owner role). Requires extensive hands on site building AND on-going maintenance, preferably as a business employee (rather than IT).
