The Application Architect ensures the JDE and other financial applications functional/technical areas are well understood and managed from an end-to-end perspective and in alignment with the center-led portfolio roadmap(s), and region and global business priorities.
The Solution Architect position is also responsible for staying current with emerging business and technology trends, promoting the art of the possible, and driving innovation investments throughout the portfolio.
Provide guidance and architectural oversight during solution fit, requirements, and design to ensure that the end to end solution remains aligned to the Technical Services domain strategy and target architecture
Enterprise Architects are team and project thought leaders at CDW. Enterprise Architects apply their technology vision and consulting experiences to drive successful strategic planning and completion of customer projects. The Enterprise Architect will generally provide these services to support multiple offices within a larger region.
Responsible for initial design and development of new software or extensive software revisions; products may be for use internally or for resale. Defines product requirements and creates high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms.
Participating in the evaluation of vendor products to determine conformance with technical standards; and monitoring and maintaining compliance with enterprise architecture, technology standards, and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.
The Solution Architects, as a team, own the integration, maintenance and integrity of the portfolio architecture for all Functions and Customer Facing solutions, encompassing global business capabilities enabled by enterprise application landscape.
Provide architectural leadership for software development efforts by integrating various technologies such as web applications, web services, relational databases, information security, servers, networking, etc.
The Technical Architect will manage across multiple technologies and/or functional areas so that solution and development teams are equipped to meet business requirements, design objectives, and understand infrastructure impacts.
Provide strategic support to the Sales organization during all aspects of the sales process, including sales calls, sales meetings, partner briefings, estimate creation and delivery, and scope of work writing assistance.
