In this role, you will perform monthly financial closing activities related to Cost of Goods Sold and Inventory includes settling work orders, open and close posting periods. The selected candidate will also perform a monthly review of variances from standard costs.
As Senior Accountant you will be responsible for a variety of General Accounting duties including, but not limited to, Sales & Use tax return preparation using data from SAP and preparing federal and state tax templates.
The primary responsibility of this position is to consolidate the balance sheets and income statements for our domestic and international subsidiaries. This position will also manage the equity section of the balance sheet, as well as update roll forward schedules such as goodwill, intangible assets and fixed assets.
In this role, the selected candidate will prepare/post gross to net revenue adjustments, journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data and accounts, as assigned, prepare/generate sales reports to support month-end close, rebate, variance, royalty, and rebate analyses for management review.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including Annual Form 10-K, Quarterly Form 10-Q and other required filings, including preparation and review of tie-out information for notes to the financial statements, and completion of disclosure controls and procedures related to internal control over financial reporting.
The Sr. Accountant will maximize compliance effectiveness by leading and/or providing support for several transformational projects in areas including internal controls, risk management, and financial systems.
The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for the full span of day-to-day accounting tasks, the production of financial reports, maintenance of accounting records in QuickBooks, month-end analysis, inventory analysis, and supervise A/P and A/R activities.
