The Site Safety Manager will be responsible to lead a team of hourly safety team members: Safety Specialist, Safety Coordinators, Onsite first aid Associates. This individual must create and execute leadership development plans for their Safety Associates on their team.
In this role, the selected candidate will develop a realistic and effective business plan for each product line to achieve budgeted goals in sales, margin, supply chain impact, and drive execution of plan.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of safety, including OSHA, and environmental record keeping, safety action item register, safety conference calls, safety audits, and accident investigations.
The position is responsible for developing and managing the Safety and Health Management System, and the corresponding laws that relate to the safety of our work, for an assigned location in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures.
In this role, the selected candidate participates with managers on policy development and in achieving loss control objectives and performing safety audits. Develop programs and procedures to assist department managers in complying with Federal/EPA and State of Iowa laws dealing with Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know laws, including also the Hazard Communication Program as it pertains to TreeHouse Foods employees.
