Provide engineering assistance to other engineers in the process of designing and troubleshooting new and existing electrical, instrument and control systems, using Rockwell Automation / Allen Bradley technology.
Design high integrity SC casting processes while providing input to virtual simulation technicians, perform casting feasibility studies, size casting for equipment, work with APQP team and tooling engineers to design cast tooling.
Work with associates, vendors, and customers to insure customer satisfaction; actively support and participate in strategic initiatives, group goals and continuous process improvement through lean principles.
Provide hands-on support for internal service and assembly staff as related to the assigned projects; employ in continuous improvement of the controls design and programming standards within a team environment.
Supports manufacturing efficiencies through work flow, space and equipment requirements as well as testing methodologies; prepares and presents reports that summarize findings and provide trend analysis.
Responsible for PLC and HMI application development, system architecture concept and design, instrumentation specification and selection, control panel design and acceptance testing, system commissioning and start-up for food processing and packing equipment/systems.
Responsible for maintaining, developing and improving manufacturing processes through the implementation of new and/or improved manufacturing equipment and systems, and development of manufacturing work cells.
You will work closely with Engineering Directors, Safety Health and Environmental Team, Quality Assurance, Research Development & Engineering and other cross functional groups, to ensure technical alignment for process engineering projects.
