The Capital Financial Analyst is a strategic, professional accounting position within Integrated Supply Chain Finance supporting the capital management process and fixed asset accounting and reporting. Ensures accurate recording and reporting of capital additions & disposals, CIP, depreciation analysis and other pertinent data in accordance with GAAP.
Prepares reports analyzing specific aspects of department structures, functions and operational procedures and recommends ways to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness. Performs other duties as assigned.
This regionally dedicated position will be based in our Lincolnshire headquarters and will report to the Vice President of Corporate Finance & Analytics. The position will also interact with numerous levels of regional and national management.
Understanding and facilitating the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, in order to identify, configure, and communicate useful information, and to provide practical business counsel to support project teams across the enterprise.
Function as a liaison between the Product Management and Engineering teams to ensure that the solution being delivered the solution meets the intended purpose/business needs primarily through translating business requirements (the "what") into functional designs (the "how").
Assist with various aspects of transactions involving low-income and historic tax credits including preparing the relevant application materials and structuring the credits to ensure the value is maximized.
Demonstrates extensive proven abilities with experience identifying and addressing client needs: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for creating and managing specific projects relative to claim process and recovery. Monitor and address any issues related to the financial performance of the business unit.
