The Nurse Anesthesia Associate Program Director is a CRNA with an appropriate graduate degree who by position, responsibility, and authority actively assists the program director in the organization and administration of the entire nurse anesthesia option.
Play a key role in crafting and coordinating University Advancement training and information sessions for college, faculty and staff, and helps prepare the dean and faculty for college presentations to University Advancement.
The position establishes goals, objectives, and standards of performance, and develops operating policies and procedures while interpreting presence health policies and regulations to personnel, residents, medical staff and the general public.
Develops, maintains, and implements nursing policies and procedures that conform to current standards of nursing practice, facility philosophy, and operational policies while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Ensures that nursing interventions meet the personal, physical and cognitive needs of each resident as well as maximize his/her self-care capacities, identity, independence, choice and opportunity for social interaction.
