The Application Support Engineer will make independent, creative, and technical contributions to managing and maintaining applications within the HSA Bank infrastructure. Configure, monitor and champion improvements in collaboration with application support peers, platform support and application development to ensure the integrity of the application environment (monitor performance, predict requirements, implement changes, etc.).
Maintain uptime data, root causes for application outages. Application has a large customer base of 1500 users and 90,000 connected devices; monitor runtime application metrics and perfrom proactive maintenance as needed.
This is an intermediate programmer/analyst position whereby the incumbent will receive general supervision and work direction from Information Technology management and advanced or expert program, analyst and design professional staff.
The consultant will provide assistance with troubleshooting of upgrade related issues, addressing configuration/performance issues reported in test during functional testing, and resolving issues reported after production go-live.
The selected candidate must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines. Must be able to determine business requirements and logically layout solution before start of software development.
