Assist in directing daily operations of the U.S. Accounting group. Assist in preparation of various financial statements and reports. Oversee the consolidation of financial statements for numerous entities.
Develop, analyze and interpret statistical and accounting information in order to evaluate operating results in terms of profitability, performance against forecast, budget & prior year results, along with other drivers of key financial and operating matters.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for performing general accounting duties, ensuring timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial information as well as assisting the Controller in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting and long term planning.
Engage in the more critical aspects of Treasury accounting, including, but not limited to Hedge accounting, FX Mark to Market valuations, issuance of new debt and ongoing accounting of debt issuance fees.
Perform technical accounting research and prepare high quality white papers in support of positions taken and conclusions reached for new transactions or new accounting principles to be adopted, such as acquisitions and ASC 606.
