The Senior Property Accountant is responsible for the timely and accurate financial reporting of assigned properties. Responsibilities include month-end close for assigned business units, reconciliation of accounts on a monthly basis, monthly calculation of operating expenses by tenant, reviewing accounts payable for accuracy, and assisting property management and accounting department with financial projects as needed.
In this position you will develop interpret and implement financial and accounting concepts or techniques for financial reporting and control. Conducts special studies to analyze financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control and/or action.
The ideal candidate will have HNW (High Net Worth) experience, as well as corporate and partnership returns. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing more complex returns and also starting to review smaller tax returns.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate review and posting of month end close and accounting transactions including P&L and balance sheet account analysis, review, reconciliation & resolution.
As Senior Tax Accountant your focus will be federal income tax returns and the federal tax provisions. Other areas include state income and franchise tax returns, and estimated tax and extension calculations. You may assist with other tax projects, as needed.
The ndividual will be solely responsible for the entirety of accounts receivables. General accounting responsibilities involve providing financial, clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of information.

In this role, the selected candidate must have a working knowledge of governmental financial reporting, auditing experience and investment accounting experience; experience in dealing with both internal and external stakeholders.
