The Manager, Revenue Cycle Training & Quality will manage process standardization efforts across the revenue cycle organization through a focus on policies & procedures, education, and training. Oversee a team of Operations Excellence Specialists and Revenue Cycle Trainers.
Develop and implement a Compliance Notification system, and ensure response to notices within five days of notification; ensure the program is in 90% compliance to both the comprehensive chart audit and the annual program regulatory review.
As a RN Manager of Clinical Practice and Quality Assurance, you will review all Medicare and other episodic payers clinical records at the local level to assure appropriate documentation for reimbursement.
Defines projects in regard to customer requirements utilizing tools such as: Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), process flow mapping, control plan documentation and Capability Analysis.
Be responsible for project level Quality Control and field level activities including site management, oversight of craft labor and/or subcontractor management, logistics, schedules, sample collection, data analysis and report preparation as required to advance project progress.
Supervises staff to include hiring, training, evaluating performance, providing compensation recommendations, and determining disciplinary actions when necessary; those employees over quality assurance may not directly supervise employees.
Review all Medicare and other episodic payers clinical records at the local level to assure appropriate documentation for reimbursement. This review includes verification of appropriate documentation, quality of care provided, visits utilization, appropriate contacts with physicians, adherence to the care plan, and evidence of communication between disciplines.
The Quality Manager is also responsible for performing inspections, interfacing with clients and third party inspection services, documenting inspections and related quality control activities and performing random job-site audits.
Maintains system for monitoring regulatory requirements and trends, including QA related issues within the industry; responsible for maintaining ISO quality system certification and management of all outside audits.
