This position is responsible for prospecting and selling logistics services to new customers as well as growing and retaining business in existing network of company owned and/or sales agent stations for expedited freight transportation.
The sales representative will manage sales across the United States.The client is seeking a candidate with the skill set and background for success. They have flexibility on compensation for the right candidate.
Provide product training to Distributor personnel as needed to build knowledge, 3M mindshare and collaborative growth plans; support new product launches, VOC requests for new product development and insight into new product ideas.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing and qualifying leads to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and other lead generation opportunities.
Maintains and builds relationships with key decision makers including developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects and specifiers to secure the use of our products on relevant construction projects in the region.
The Technical Account Director will engage with customers with sound technical consultation and will define, support, close, monitor, and report on new business opportunities and programs for components, assemblies, co-development and product transfers.
Consists of, but not limited to, being responsible for sales of construction aggregates in designated market area. Work closely with the sales and production teams; scale operators; trucking and railroad companies; and a variety of internal and external customers.
