The IT Systems Administrator performs a wide variety of technical duties which include, but are not limited to analysis, installation, modification, documentation, maintenance, problem diagnosis, and repair of all hardware systems used locally as servers-, storages-, backup-, network-, time management and entry control devices, industrial PCs, desktops, handhelds level, printing, publishing and communications equipment.

In this role, the selected candidate will mentor System Support Specialist to perform tasks which include but not limited to end-user support, trouble ticket resolution, file-system/disk management, server installation/configuration, and process/procedural updates.

The Systems Administrator serves with the NGA IT/IS Compute Services Data Center Support Team, providing systems administration, integration, the establishing of new user accounts, assigning privileges; establishing and updating procedures and documentation; and providing direct customer support on all Data Center Operational Systems.
