Serves as a technical expert in the investigation and diagnosis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and restoration and recovery actions of physical and virtual RHEL 5.x, 6.x, 7.x servers and supporting software/middleware in a multi-site Data Center.
The Systems Administrator will conduct system problem diagnosis and troubleshooting, submitting problem reports for site, calling in for daily meetings, keeping Site Lead, IAs, and key management informed with any site issues at all times.
In this role, the selected candidate will provide operational and technical support to ensure the ongoing stability to the server environments; assist in the IT infrastructure design and implementations.
The IT Systems Administrator performs a wide variety of technical duties which include, but are not limited to analysis, installation, modification, documentation, maintenance, problem diagnosis, and repair of all hardware systems used locally as servers-, storages-, backup-, network-, time management and entry control devices, industrial PCs, desktops, handhelds level, printing, publishing and communications equipment.
In this role, the selected candidate will mentor System Support Specialist to perform tasks which include but not limited to end-user support, trouble ticket resolution, file-system/disk management, server installation/configuration, and process/procedural updates.
