The Zone Procurement Implementation Manager (Indirect) is responsible for ensuring the inclusion of all zone specific requirements and analytics in the creation of Capex category strategies. They will then be responsible for the successful execution of these strategies on a zone and where necessary country basis.
In this role, the selected candidate will source, negotiate and build programs with vendors and the supply chain to improve costs, service and quality; focus on continuous improvement initiatives with vendors and raw materials to improve handling and processing efficiencies in the plant.
Perform consumables management to include tracking lot numbers and expiration dates in the LIS; perform preventive maintenance to include that schedules are followed and maintenance history and calibration data provided by units are documented.
Supply Chain Manager is a key function to drive standard S&OP (Sales, Operations and Planning), supply chain strategies, cost-containment, material and supplier performance across Ducommun. Supply Chain Manager has direct organizational responsibility for all elements of supply chain.
