In this role, the selected candidate will be a subject matter expert in a particular medical field or expertise; Occupational Health, Primary Care, Pharmacy/PC integration, Integrative Medicine, etc. and provides consultative advice and insight on unique medical cases, patient situations and/or client issues.
In this role, the successful candidate will manage health conditions via prescriptive authority or referral to other healthcare providers or community resources; may perform diagnostic or therapeutic interventions consistent with certification and state regulations.
The Clinic Physician provides direct patient care and shares on-call responsibilities for hospitalized patients; provide primary care services at Rural Health Clinic at least 32 hour per week except during vacations, holidays, sick, or continuing medical education.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining medical histories, performing physical examinations, participating in multidisciplinary rounds, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, designing and implementing plans of care, as well as performing various invasive procedures.
The Physicians Assistant (referred to as the PA) shall have a collaborative agreement with the Medical Director which grants the PA authority to provide care to patients following protocols that have been jointly agreed upon.
In this role, the selected candidate will ensure optimal care and promotes safety of patients admitted to assigned service in cooperation with the private attending staff and nursing staff; communicates with staff, patients, and families.
