This position will work with a variety of technologies to design and build analytical solutions that support the strategic and analytical needs of the business. This job entails analyzing data, trends, and data patterns and applying statistical methods to real-world business problems.
In this role, the selected candidate will assist in training application programmers in the protocols involved in updating and accessing the database; assists in updates of the data dictionary, including writing control statements.
Responsible for overall systems design and architecture, including new solutions and patterns.Collaborate with business users and stakeholders through design and implementation, including needs analysis and system requirements.
Most data sources will be on premise RDBMS systems including Oracle and Teradata and will require general fluency in writing efficient SQL queries, basic understanding of SQL performance tuning, and experience with translating relational data models into JSON/AVRO schema objects.
The architect will work cross functionally across technology units as well as business lines on solution architecture to successfully integrate data across enterprise. This individual need to have a deep understanding of the data architecture, data modeling, metadata, master data and data governance concepts.
Data Architects lead significant data initiatives aimed at transforming and maturing data services in support of larger IT Transformation data initiatives and oversee complex data architectures across multiple business domains.
