In this role, the candidate will work closely with the data science group and software engineering group to develop and implement a full end-to-end Cloud solution for our analytics backend including Infrastructure Design, Platform, Automation, and Storage Architecture.
In this role, you will be responsible for the development of ETL and reporting solutions to address business needs. Understand source data, and the business systems that create and utilize this data during business operations.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary scientists internal to company, organize challenging problems, develop new solutions, and work with business & development teams to ensure these solutions deliver value.
In this role, the selected candidate must have an experience working with raster and vector data sets applying GDAL and similar spatial libraries; experience with geospatial imagery and an understanding of the unique challenges/capabilities of geospatial imagery.
In this role, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining O&S operating procedures for the compute infrastructure; supporting the Certification and Accreditation process, running SRRs, resolving findings, documenting solutions, creating and implementing workarounds, and/or providing justifications for exceptions.
