The Automation and Controls Engineer will be designing controls and automation systems, including electrical design of motor control panels, PLC panels and instrument panels for compressors and steam turbines in a variety of applications like water treatment, incineration, chemicals, petro-chemicals, micro LNG and wet flue gas desulfurization.

In this role, you will design controls systems and electrical power distribution for built-to-order automated manufacturing solutions. Author ladder logic and document manuals, diagrams, and schematics of said systems to assist in the installation, troubleshooting, and operation of new designs and source necessary components including drives, servos, actuators, breakers, fuses, sensors, etc.
In this role, you will design and documents for projects of all types, including both major projects such as convention center, casinos, and sports facilities, as well as more common projects such as hospitals, office buildings, and parking structures.
In this role, you will develop and documents a plan of action, codes programs, prepares test data and performs testing/debugging activities with limited guidance from management. The selected candidate will develop and maintain various applications as required using development tools Visual Studio, .NET Framework, ASP.NET and C#.
In this role, the selected candidate will document software defects using a defect tracking system and report those defects to project team; identify and document problems with application features, functionality, output, and user interface.
